In early March, more information had been released about the fatal hit-and-run that killed Terrace resident Cameron Kerr back in November of 2018.
This morning, the Kerr family was on scene to receive updates on the case, however the case has been pushed back to a later date within the next six months. Taylor Stogryn and Conrad Wierzbicki, who were the two men that were originally charged, appeared virtually along with the lawyers who represent them.
In March, both Stogryn and Wierzbicki were charged with indignity to human remains along with obstructing justice. Stogryn was also charged with failure to stop at the scene of the accident.
Garrett Kerr, who is the brother of Cameron, is willing to wait out the process.
“We understand that it’s a pretty detailed case, and there’s a lot of information that needs to be disclosed in the defense,” said Kerr. “It’s going to take a long time, but we’ve waited this long and we don’t mind waiting a little longer.”
