The City of Terrace recently announced that they were able to finish their upgrades that they were making to a pair of their nearby local hiking paths.
The first of the trails of that got upgraded was the Eby Staircase Trial that begins at the top of Eby Street in the Horseshoe and was named after the several sets of stairs it has on it.
The other trail primarily being worked on was the Skeena Viewpoint Trail that runs partway through the Howe Creek Trail.
The work that was being done on these trails mainly involved a 40 year old stormwater main that ran down the hillside, close to the trails, being replaced.
Now the work is finally done and the trails can be enjoyed by anyone who wishes to use them.
