In the southern side of Terrace, the City has begun executing their plans to make Tetrault Park both more functional as well as more welcoming.
As of right now, the City’s main goals for their park improvement are to increase community engagement, redesign the environment to help prevent crime, improve Inclusivity and Accessibility and create more opportunities to use the area for Community Programming and Events.
The park’s main current uses already include a frisbee golf course, a bike skills area some walking trails and an outdoor fitness area.
Another hope of the City’s is that these changes will improve people’s overall experience in the park and reduce potential conflicts by meeting the needs of certain user groups.
