The City of Terrace recently posted a reminder on their Facebook Page that is quite important for everyone living the area that is currently in an arrangement involving a short term rental.
Terrace’s reminder said that the Provincial Government is now requiring everyone who is either a host of a short term rental, a platform or a strata hotel platform to register in their short-term rental registry.
And as part of joining the registry, all of the hosts will be required to pay annual registration fees as well.
The deadline to register is listed as May 1st and as an incentive to get signed up a bit quicker, early registrants will have discounts made available to them.
