Sources tell CJDC TV News that Emily Ogden’s body was found on Monday. Ogden was reported missing last week by the Fort St. John RCMP due to concerns from her family about her safety.

Sources also said that two people were taken into custody and questioned by investigators in connection with Ogden’s murder. While the male was well-known to police, both were released from custody without any charges.

The murder investigation is being led by the RCMP E-Division from Surrey. Investigators have released a duplex on 16th Street from being secured.

Police could be seen at a home Tuesday on Watson Cresent. The house was being secured as part of the investigation.

Police have also been at two other sites since Monday. Mounties were at a home on 107th Avenue and were also combing the area for clues on 231 Road in South Dawson.

Police are looking to speak with anyone with any information on the case. This is the second murder of the year in Dawson Creek.
