The Houston & District Chamber of Commerce has put out a warning of a scam email.
The Chamber of Commerce has advised recipients not to open any email or communication from a “Penny Murphy”.
They say the email is a scam and does not originate from or represent the organization in any way.
It’s recommended to anyone who received the email that they delete it immediately, and to not respond to or click on any links.
If you did interact with the email, the Chamber suggests taking appropriate steps to protect your personal information.
