LNG Canada recently announced on their website that they will be taking in a liquefied natural gas cargo delivery in the earlier part of April, with said delivery going to the company’s marine terminal in Kitimat.
The reason for the delivery heading to the terminal in Northwestern BC is so that it can be equipment tested and it has been touted as critical to LNG’s safe start-up and commissioning process.
Although at this point in the year, the company has said they have not begun producing liquefied natural gas just yet.
More information about the cargo and LNG’s work processes is available on the company’s website.
