Earlier today, BC’s Ministry of Environment and Parks extended a few Dust Advisories in Northwestern BC.
The places that these advisories cover are Smithers, Houston and Burns Lake, with all of the advisories being issued early Tuesday Morning.
Those communities were placed under the advisories for pretty similar reasons as concentrations of coarse particulate matter showed up in all of those places and they’re expected to last until their respective weather sees a change in precipitation, although it’s not certain when that may end up happening.
