A recent post on their Facebook page and website saw the City of Prince Rupert acknowledge that they had been hearing the frustrations of east side residents that had been affected by water valve testing.
The testing is a part of the work that is being done by the City to replace their water pipes that have been less than ideal for quite some time now.
Prince Rupert then said that they are working on shoring up their internal processes on both future planned and unplanned water disruptions after they identified some issues and the plan is to clarify their procedures sometime later this week.
