A couple of days ago, the Town of Smithers posted that their yearly stage one water restrictions are in effect for everyone who uses their water system.
These restrictions mean that lawn watering is allowed for even numbered properties on even numbered days and odd numbered properties can water their lawns on odd numbered days.
The restrictions also exist to help serve as a reminder to use water responsibly and they will be in effect until October 31st.
