In a recently released public statement, Skeena Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach gave his thoughts on BC signing a $670 million pharmacare deal with the Federal Government not long ago.
Bachrach went on record to say that the deal will provide help to many residents that have been struggling to cover the cost of medications over the last little while.
The agreement will allow for BC Residents to get universal access to diabetes medication and contraceptives in addition to it covering hormone replacement therapy to treat menopause symptoms, the coverage of which will start in March next year.
Bachrach also expressed pride in the fact that he and his colleagues in the NDP were able to aid in work that prioritized putting the well being of people ahead of pharmaceutical profits.
