Taylor Bachrach sees Campaign sign get vandalized

This past weekend saw an incident occur that serves as a reminder of how the volatility of the political landscape can lead to people taking drastic action against people they don’t like or disagree with.

Just as his re-election campaign was getting started, NDP incumbent Skeena Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach was the victim of vandalism, as someone spraypainted a giant obscenity on one of his campaign signs located on Highway 37.

He responded to this act by reiterating the importance of maintaining respect during a campaign and making sure to ask his supporters to not retaliate in any way against any conservative signs or candidates.

Conservative Candidate Ellis Ross also spoke publicly about the vandalism, expressing his own displeasure with the act and encouraging others to avoid going down that path themselves.
