The Terrace RCMP has released a report that detailed what they encountered during the waining days of March as they got 226 calls during that time frame.
One listed incident in their report talked about how patrolling officers in the area of Kalum Street and Keith Avenue saw a Black SUV remain stopped for an unusually long time while a traffic light was green.
Those officers ended up conducting a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver got a warn result on her breathalyzer test, showing that she had alcohol in her system.
She was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle while also getting a roadside prohibition and her vehicle was impounded.
The woman was later picked up by family members in yet another clear reminder to not drink and drive.
