The local RCMP detachment in Terrace has put out an article on their website detailing some of the incidents they dealt with during the last week of February.
One such incident saw Officers stop a vehicle with 4 occupants that was going 45 km/hr over the speed limit and when the Officers conducted an impaired investigation, the driver of the vehicle ended up failing it.
As a result of the failed test and massive breaking of the speed limit, the driver was given a 90 day driving prohibition, 30 day vehicle impoundment, a ticket for violating the speed limit as well as two counts of driving contrary to restrictions.
