The postseason in the Central Interior Hockey League is set to wrap up soon as the best of two series in the CIHL Final got underway this past weekend.
The West Fraser Center in Quesnel played host to game 1 of the series between the defending champion Terrace River Kings and their challenger for the crown, the Quesnel Kanagroos.
In a tightly contested affair, the River Kings took the early edge in the series with a 3-2 win on the road and now will have two chances at home to lock up another championship.
The winner of the series will also compete later this month in the annual Coy Cup Tourney as well.
