Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Damian joined the CFTK-TV team this summer as a reporter and news anchor. Damian studied four years at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly ‘Ryerson’) in the Sport Media program, finding an appreciation for video and print journalism. Much like any other job, Damian Smith understands the duty of a journalist. That is to listen and publish. Outside of work, Damian can be found on the ice playing hockey or on the volleyball court. Damian prioritizes living an active lifestyle and healthy eating.
